Jack Kiefer, 97, passed away on December 15, 2022.

He is preceded in death by his wives, Myrtle Bolin Kiefer and Paula King Kiefer.
He is survived by his nephew, Chuck Kiefer, and nieces, Carol Wells, Kate Kiefer, and Connie Collins.
Jack was born on February 14, 1925, in Bradenton, FL, to Albert and Mayme Kiefer. After graduating from Lanier HS in Montgomery, he served in the Navy as a Radio Man Second Class during WWII from 1944 to 1946. After serving in the Navy, he began a career in commercial construction, subsequently working for EC Coston Commercial Contractors. He is a member in good standing with the Metro East Solomon Masonic Lodge, No. 932.
The family wishes to thank the care given to him by Col. Robert L. Howard Veterans Home and the Lakeside Hospice staff. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on December 20, 2022, at Forest Crest Cemetery, 5730 Crestwood Blvd., Birmingham, AL 35212. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Col. Robert L. Howard Veterans Home, 7504 Veterans Pkwy, Pell City, AL 35215, or to your favorite charity in his memory.
