UPDATE: Hewitt-Trussville High School students are back in class after Trussville Fire and Rescue extinguished a fire in one of the science labs. The school building was not damaged during the fire. All students are safe.

TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville Fire and Rescue responded to a fire in one of the science labs at Hewitt-Trussville High School on Wednesday, Nov. 30, around 8:30 a.m.
Students and faculty were evacuated. Trussville Fire and Rescue is on the scene.
The fire has reportedly been extinguished.
