Barry Warren Johnson, 61, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022, surrounded by his immediate family members.

Barry is survived by his wife, Diann Johnson, his children Valerie Matthews, Emily Parker, and Natalie Johnson, his two sons-in-law, Denver Matthews and Kaleb Parker, and his grandson Warren Matthews.
Barry was born in Birmingham, Alabama, on August 26, 1960, to Janie Johnson and Warren Johnson. On May 4, 1991, he married Diann Johnson. He graduated from LaSalle University in 1996 with a degree in business.
Barry was a devoted husband and father. He had a servant’s heart and lived his life in a way that exemplified Jesus Christ. He enjoyed fishing, Alabama football, and boating. Barry always made sure everyone around him had anything they could possibly need or want.
A funeral is scheduled for June 22 at 10:00 a.m. Friend and assistant pastor of Victory Church in Pell City will officiate. Instead of flowers, please send a donation to Cowetta Pregnancy Services in Newman, Georgia, where his predeceased sister Carol Rexroad started a clinic to save countless babies from abortion.
He will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who knew him. What a sad day it is on earth, but a glorious happy day in Heaven.
