BIRMINGHAM — A 25-year-old man was shot and killed in a vehicle on Tuesday, June 7, at approximately 6:10 a.m.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, Domonique Deandre’ Williams, of Birmingham, sustained gunshot wound injuries while sitting in a vehicle in the 1700 Block of Avenue J Ensley Birmingham.
Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The death is being investigated as a homicide,” Deputy Coroner Phillip Russell said.
The Birmingham Police Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
