MOODY — A Moody man was arrested for a murder that occurred on Tuesday, May 24, at approximately 2:37 a.m.

According to the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office, Myles Hope Phillips, 21, of Moody, was arrested for murder and is in the St. Clair County Jail with no bond.
Margaret Police Department and St. Clair County Sheriff’s office received a call of a possible shooting at 7365 Old Acton Road in Moody.
“After arriving on scene, the body of 58-year-old Ralph E. Phillips was discovered deceased from a gunshot wound,” St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office stated. “The scene was secured and turned over to the St. Clair County Criminal Investigation Division.”
The relationship between the victim and suspect has not been released.
