BIRMINGHAM — The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified a Leeds man killed in a single-vehicle accident on Friday, May 20.
Curtis Ray Cummings, 46, of Leeds died shortly before 2 p.m. when he was involved in an accident on the 8500 block of Dunnavant Road, Jefferson County Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Yates reported.
“The decedent was the driver and lone occupant of a Ford pickup truck traveling east in the 8500 block of Dunnavant Road, when his vehicle for unknown reasons left the roadway and struck a tree,” Yates stated. “The cause and circumstances surrounding the wreck are being investigated by the Leeds Police Department.”
