MONTGOMERY — Two local teams have been ranked in the top 10 of their respective classifications in the Alabama Sports Writers Association’s statewide rankings for boys basketball.
Pinson Valley comes in ranked No. 5 in 6A ahead of an area showdown on the road against Clay-Chalkville on Friday, while Leeds, ranked No. 7 in 5A, plays Parker on the same night. Springville is hovering just under the radar with a 16-2 ranking.
