HOMEWOOD — The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified a cyclist killed after being struck by a vehicle on Saturday, September 25, 2021, around 7:39 p.m.
According to the Homewood Police Department, David Cameron Glass, 30, was riding a bicycle traveling West on Lakeshore Parkway towards I-65 North when a vehicle traveling West on Lakeshore Parkway struck and injured him.
Glass was transported to UAB hospital, where a month later, he succumbed to his injures on Thursday, October 21, 2021.
The Homewood Police Department is investigating this case as a motor vehicle accident.
