Kathryn Berry Riggins 84, Trussville AL. 9/15/1936 – 4/16/2021
Born to Duke G and Emma C Berry of Avondale AL. Attended Minnie Holman grammar school and graduated Woodlawn High School. She lived in Largo FL for 15 years. Previous member of Avondale United Methodist and active member of Trussville First United Methodist. She was a member of Friendship Sunday school class, Kidron bunco group, Trussville senior center, Airstream travel club, Red Hat society and was an avid bridge player, especially with friends in Trussville.
Kathryn most enjoyed traveling all over the world with her husband. She was a sports fan who loved going to her sons and grandsons events. She was a homemaker and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
Kathryn is survived by her husband Ronald Riggins Sr; sons Ronald Riggins Jr (Susan), Steve Riggins and Mike Riggins. Grandchildren Katie Hargrove, Peyton Riggins, Ian Riggins, Jillian Watwood, and seven Great Grandchildren. The family wishes to thank her loving caregivers Rhea Batts and Alecia Graham.
Celebration of Life to be held at Trusssville First United Methodist Church May 1, 2021. Family will receive friends at 10:00AM till 11:00AM. Celebration of Life at 11:00AM with luncheon to follow.
