TRUSSVILLE — The new UAB Callahan Eye Hospital Clinic Trussville will open its doors Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021.
Located at 1960 Gadsden Parkway near Pinnacle at Tutwiler Farm, the location will offer a wide range of comprehensive and specialty eye services to patients in and around the city of Trussville.
“We are excited to be part of the Trussville community,” said Rett Grover, UAB Callahan Eye Hospital and Clinics chief executive officer. “With this new clinic, our ophthalmologists and optometrists will be able to deliver the best care in a convenient location while they build relationships and provide exceptional patient experiences for those living in or near the city of Trussville.”
The 5,200-square-foot clinic offers patients access to pediatric and comprehensive eye care specialists, houses a state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging center, and includes a new on-site optical store. Patients who visit the clinic will receive services including family eye care, eye exams, cataract evaluations, glaucoma screenings, dry eye evaluation and treatment, and contact lens evaluations. All Callahan Eye Hospital Clinic patients are also eligible to receive a minimum 15 percent discount on all sunglasses and eyeglasses.
“We are consistently looking for ways to better serve our patients, and this new location allows us to provide members of the Trussville community with the expert care they are used to receiving from Callahan Eye Hospital in a more convenient, timely manner,” Grover said.
