MARGARET — The Margaret Lions Club will host a community blood drive at the Margaret Pharmacy parking lot on Saturday, Oct. 17 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Donors must be at least 17 years old or 16 years old with parental permission, and weight at least 110 pounds. Valid photo I.D. is required.
Margaret Pharmacy is located on 145 Jeffrey Wilson Drive. To schedule an appointment, visit LifeSouth Is Your Community Blood Center or call 205-943-600.
All donors will receive a gift certificate to Margaret Mexican Restaurant and Cafe 242, and a LifeSouth recognition item. Donors will also receive COVID-19 antibody testing.
According to a Monday press release, appointments are strongly encouraged, but walk-ins will be welcome as social distancing guidelines allow.
