PINSON — Construction on the new Huddle House at 4655 Pinson Boulevard, in Pinson, was put on hold because of the coronavirus pandemic. Mayor Hoyt Sanders said crews should be back at the location by the end of June.
The new Huddle House, which Sanders says “is not your grandpa’s Huddle House,” will be a new prototype called Evo2000. The modern décor will include a “heroes wall” to honor heroes such as police officers and firefighters and a local athletic wall, which will feature Pinson Valley High School athletes.
With a new, diverse menu that includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, the new concept is expected to be a welcome addition to the city of Pinson.
The full-service, sit-down restaurant will include table service, a circular booth dubbed the “Huddle Booth” and three televisions.
The restaurant was originally expected to open in April 2020, but the coronavirus shut down progress at the site.
