BIRMINGHAM — A man’s body was found near the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport on Thursday.
Media reports indicate that the body was located on a rural road near 88th Street North and Eighth Avenue North.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. No cause of death has been released as of yet.
This discovery follows the December 2019 death of Adam Blake Warren, 36, whose body was located just northeast of the airport, in an undeveloped area that was purchased by the airport. He was found by airport workers in the 8900 block of Eighth Court North. Upon arrival, officers located a male subject lying on the side of the roadway unresponsive.
The Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service pronounced the man dead at the scene.
