TRUSSVILLE — The new Dollar General in downtown Trussville is now open. The store is at 419 Main St.
The location is a couple of blocks down the street from the former store, which will be renovated and turned into Half Shell Oyster House.

The official grand opening for the new Dollar General will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7, at 8 a.m. There will be free prizes and special deals. The first 50 shoppers will receive a $10 gift card and the first 200 shoppers will receive a Dollar General tote bag with complimentary samples.
Dollar General’s senior vice president of real estate and store development, Dan Nieser, said Dollar General is committed to providing a convenient location for shoppers.
“We hope our area customers will enjoy shopping at Dollar General’s new location,” said Nieser.
