TUSCALOOSA — The Tuscaloosa Police Department is investigating a fatal crash that happened on Monday, Sept. 16, 2019.
Rose Lee Richardson, 63, of Tuscaloosa, was driving a 2017 Ford Fiesta on 25th Avenue East near Tamaha Trace when it crashed. Witnesses told officers the car was traveling southbound when it veered sharply to the left, leaving the roadway and striking a tree.
Richardson was taken to DCH Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
The Ford Fiesta was the only vehicle involved in the crash.
