GADSDEN — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency identified a teen killed in a crash on Monday, Aug. 12, 2019.
Brittany Michelle Cantrell, 19, of Crossville, was killed when the 1999 Honda Accord she was driving left the roadway and overturned. The crash happened at 5:20 p.m., on U.S. 431, two miles west of Gadsden.
According to ALEA, Cantrell was not wearing a seatbelt. She was seriously injured and taken to UAB Hospital, where she later died.
