WASHINGTON — Raw meatloaf that was shipped to hospitals in Arizona, California and Nevada have been recalled due to contamination of extraneous materials. Specifically, the meatloaf could contain broken metal bits, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).
Ada Valley Gourmet Foods, Inc. recalled 3,490 pounds of the meat after being notified by a customer complaint.
The products subject to recall were 5-pound vacuum packages with the label “Ada Valley MEATLOAF UNCOOKED” with lot code 17034. They have a packaging date of May 20, 2019.
There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to the consumption of the products.
