ST. CLAIR COUNTY — The Alabama Department of Transportation announced lane closures beginning Monday, June 17, 2019, in St. Clair County. Weather permitting, the work will be completed on Saturday, June 22.
Beginning at 7 a.m., crews will close one lane of Interstate 59 northbound at various locations between the St. Clair Springs exit (MP 156) and the Ashville exit (MP 166). Beginning at 8 a.m., crews will begin work in the southbound lanes between the same exits.
The closures will be for paving and grassing operations.
All travel lanes are expected to be open each day around 4 p.m.
Drivers are asked to use extreme caution during work operations.
