FAIRFIELD — The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office is working on notifying the family of two people who were killed in Fairfield.
The two were found dead on Monday, June 3, 2019, around 6 a.m. in the 200 block of 57th. They were both pronounced dead at 6:30 a.m.
Coroner Bill Yates said there was evidence at the scene that suggests a shooting was involved, but the cause of death has not been confirmed. The deaths are being investigated by Fairfield Police as homicides.
