ST. CLAIR COUNTY — The Alabama Department of Transportation announced lane closures on Interstate 59 Northbound between the St. Clair Springs exit and the Ashville exit.
Either the right or left lane will close beginning Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at 7 a.m., for paving and grassing operations.
All travel lanes are expected to reopen at approximately 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
These same lane closures will be in place from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, through Saturday, June 1.
Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area.
