JEFFERSON COUNTY — A multi-vehicle crash in the Roebuck area was fatal for a Birmingham man, according to Carol Robinson of Al.com.
Ryan Christopher Jenkins, 37, was identified as the victim by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office. According to Robinson, the wreck took place at 4:50 p.m. at the intersection of Parkway East and Fourth Avenue South.
Robinson also reported that authorities said there are few details currently available concerning the crash. Authorities believe Jenkins was a passenger in one of the impacted vehicles. He was transported to UAB Hospital and underwent surgery, but died at 10:25 p.m.
