BIRMINGHAM – Charles Salvagio, the attorney for Erron Brown, said that video of the events at the Hoover Galleria on Thanksgiving could be an important factor in clearing his client, according to WBRC.
“We believe when the video is shown — not necessarily the bodycams, but videos from the mall — we believe it will show very clearly that Erron Brown was not the instigator of this,” Salvagio said.
WBRC reported that Hoover Police are contending that a confrontation with Brown and others is what prompted the shooting.
“These people knew each other,” Salvagio said. “This could have happened anywhere. Somebody wanted it to happen at the Galleria.”
According to WBRC, Salvagio said that it is his desire to view the videos and the body cameras of the incident between Emantic “EJ” Bradford and Hoover Police. Bradford was shot and killed by police during the events of Thanksgiving night. Police said that Bradford had a gun.
