BIRMINGHAM –Birmingham police responded to a shooting in the 7700 block of Fourth Avenue South just after 11 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day.
Officers discovered that the victim had already been transported to the hospital by private vehicle.
According to police, the victim was driving on Fourth Avenue South when shots were fired into his vehicle. The victim returned fire at the suspect.
Police have not yet listed a suspect or announced an arrest in the incident. The condition of the victim is unknown at this time.
