TRUSSVILLE –Saturday morning temperatures dipped to freezing just before sunrise in Trussville and that’s a taste of the week ahead.
According to the national Weather Service in Birmingham, a freeze warning is in effective for Jefferson, Blount and St. Clair counties overnight Saturday and into Sunday morning. The expected low is 31.
The week ahead promises cold days in the 40’s with the exception of Sunday which could reach the low 50’s. Tuesday could see temperatures drop as low as 26. Throw a 100 percent chance of rain in for Monday and all f the elements are in place for a miserable start to the week.
