TRUSSVILLE—The cross country postseason was scheduled to begin Thursday Nov. 1. The meet will now begin Friday Nov. 2 due to the threat of severe weather on Thursday. The event will be held at Hewitt-Trussville Stadium. The 7A Girls race will begin at 9am and the 7A Boys race will begin at 9:30am.
The Eight schools set to compete include: Hewitt-Trussville, Hoover, Mountain Brook, Oak Mountain, Spain Park, Thompson, Vestavia, and Tuscaloosa County. The top four teams from Friday’s race will advance to the AHSAA State Meet on Saturday Nov. 10.
