ST. CLAIR COUNTY –According to the Alabama State Troopers, the Lifesaver helicopter was called to the scene of an accident in St. Clair County.
Troopers are working a single vehicle crash on I-20 at about the 152 mile marker near Cook Springs.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the vehicle left the roadway and struck trees on the shoulder. The driver and single occupant were injured and airlifted to UAB with unknown injuries. Traffic stopped for the Lifesaver helicopter.
The crash was in the east bound lane.
