From The Trussville Tribune staff reports
TRUSSVILLE –A third member of the Hewitt-Trussville football team has committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Alabama had already secured commitments from 5-star lineman Pierce Quick and quarterback Paul Tyson of the 2019 class when word came that another Husky, this time from the 2020 class, would roll with the Tide.
Rising junior wide receiver Dazalin Worsham announced that he was “1000% committed to The University of Alabama” on Friday. He is ranked as a 4-star recruit.
“First off, I wanna to start by saying thank you to the man above for blessing me with the ability to play the game I love and putting me in this position,” Worsham tweeted. “I want to say thank you to my family, coaches, teammates, everyone who has helped me along the way. To every school and every coach that recruited me, and especially my Mom for working so hard to always make sure I’m good.
“With that said, I will be following my childhood dream by staying home and committing to The University of Alabama.
“Thank you to Coach Sabana, Coach Key, Coach Gattis, Coach Locksley, and the rest of the entire coaching staff. Roll Tide!”
