Murder charges have been filed against Jon Rodney Bowden, 41, who was recently arrested in connection with the beating death of Theresa Lynn “Terri” Miller, 47, a mother of three children in Gardendale, according to Carol Robinson.
A baseball bat was used in the murder of Miller. She was was discovered on March 19 by a family member. Gardendale Police responded to the scene and later learned that she was the girlfriend of Bowden, who was arrested as a person of interest in the case.
Formal charges were filed against Bowden today. He will be transferred to the Jefferson County Jail where his bond has been set at $250,000.
