Another round of food scores have been released and can be seen on the Jefferson County Department of Health’s website. Food service establishments in Trussville, Pinson and Center Point are among the list of scores, which includes a child development center in Trussville. Health inspections are conducted on local services as required by the rules of the Alabama Department of Public Health.

The Jefferson County Department of health enforces regulations set by Alabama Department of Public Health, “Rules of Alabama State Board of Health Bureau of Environmental Services, Chapter 420-3-22, for Food Establishment Sanitation,” as well as the “State of Alabama Food Processing Rules for Food Manufacturers”.
