TRUSSVILLE – The Trussville Rotary Daybreak Club celebrated the spirit of Christmas by donating gifts at their annual Christmas party, according to a release.
Rotarians brought toys to contribute to the Trussville Fire Department’s “Operation Stocking Stuffer.” A number of toys were collected to share Christmas with those in need.
The Club also presented a check for ,000 to Designs for Hope, an organization which, according to their website, exists to provide sustainable energy, clean water, and other innovative designs to disciple makers in developing countries.
Chris Bonds, Executive Director of the organization, was on hand to accept the check.
The Trussville Rotary Daybreak Club meets for breakfast on Wednesday mornings at 7 a.m. at Spare Time Entertainment (3600 Roosevelt Blvd).
