According to police chief Jeff Bridges, the court magistrate has issued two warrants in the alleged Peeping Tom incident at the Pants store in Trussville, one to each victim for criminal surveillance.
Matthew David Piell, a 43-year-old white male from Trussville, will be charged in the incident.
“His Attorney has been notified and will turn his client in this afternoon or in the morning,” Bridges said.
The alleged Peeping Tom was caught on camera two weeks ago at The Pants Store in Trussville. According to police, around 2 p.m. on Thursday, a customer informed employees that a man was allegedly videotaping the victim with a cell phone while in the dressing room, and when confronted the man ran out of the store.
Bridges confirmed the department has video evidence and a photograph of the perpetrator and his truck.
