Pinson Library releases fall events calendar

PINSON – The Pinson Public Library has a number of exciting events coming up for residents of all ages.

Author Robert Wilkerson will be at the library November 1 at 2 p.m. He will be signing copies of his new book, The Road to Resurrection, and books will be available for purchase.

Story time will take place November 4 and 18 at 10 a.m. The theme for the first story time is art, and the theme for the second is cooking.

In preparation for the “Gilmore Girls” revival, there will be a reunion celebration on November 4 at 6 p.m. at the Pinson Community Center. There will be a craft, food and trivia. The event is open to teens 6^th grade-12^th grade and adults only.

“Little House on the Pinson Prairie” will take place November 21 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Participants can learn about life during the 1880s with activity stations featuring food, games, learning experiences and more. This event will be held at the Pinson Community Center.

Other events include Harry Potter Fandom Friday November 18 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. and a used book sale November 19 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

The library will be closed November 11 and November 24-26.
