TRUSSVILLE – A shooting on August 28 sent a Trussville man to the hospital with injuries.
Reginald Johnson Jr., 35, was shot during an argument in the front yard of a residence on Trace Circle. The shooting occurred at 2:30 a.m. according to
Trussville Police Captain Jeff Bridges.
Johnson was transported to UAB Hospital by Trussville Fire and Rescue.
The shooter, a black male, escaped before police arrived.
According to Capt. Bridges, the case has passed through the district attorney’s office and will be sent to a grand jury. At this time, there is no warrant for the shooter.
Capt. Bridges said TPD will know the results from the grand jury in a few weeks.
