SHELBY COUNTY – A single vehicle crash at 8:35 p.m. on Sunday has claimed the life of a Homewood woman.
Shannon Lynne Brasher, 29, was killed when the 1996 Ford Explorer she was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. She was pronounced dead on the scene.
The crash occurred on Shelby County 26, four miles west of Alabaster.
State Troopers are continuing to investigate.
