HOOVER – A 26-year-old woman was killed in a crash Saturday.

Laura Cristina Buitrago-Diaz died at 12:18 a.m. in a single vehicle crash on John Hawkins Parkway near the entrance to Lake Cyrus, according to WBRC. She was driving a 2001 Honda Accord when her vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.
The Hoover Police Department is investigating.
