CENTER POINT – Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the 1400 block of 4th Place NW to investigate a traffic accident around 7:20 p.m.
Deputies arrived to find that a motorcycle and a van had been involved in an accident.
The adult male driver of the motorcycle suffered critical injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene. The adult male driver of the van was not injured.
The Sheriff’s Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team is on the way to the scene, according to Sgt. Jack Self with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
