TRUSSVILLE — The Big Dog Poker Run, an annual motorcycle ride to raise money for the Go Build Alabama student scholarship fund, will take place May 27 at 7 a.m.
Go Build Alabama is able to offer scholarships to students every month who demonstrate excellence in the classroom, and show promise to be future leaders.
The ride will start at RentalWorks in downtown Birmingham, and finish at Riders Harley Davidson in Trussville around noon.
CraneWorks and Garrison Xc Steel Group organize the event. This year, there are over 120 bikers expected to show up for the 100 mile ride, which will include a stop at Talladega Superspeedway.
