Alabama State Troopers said a man died early Saturday morning when the Chevrolet Silverado he was driving left the roadway and overturned into a pond.
The single-vehicle crash at 2:45 a.m. claimed the life of Bryan Curtis Eddy, 41, of Nauvoo.
Eddy, who was not using a seatbelt, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. The crash scene was not discovered until around 10 a.m. Saturday.
The crash occurred on Alabama 195 at the intersection of Fall City Road, six miles north of Jasper.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
