TUSCALOOSA – A two-vehicle crash at 2:58 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, has claimed the life of a Starkville, Miss., woman.
Khadedra Janisha Sherman, 32, was killed when the 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix she was driving collided head-on with a 2007 Peterbilt truck driven by Joe David Bannerman, 46, of Northport.
Sherman was pronounced dead at the scene. Bannerman was not injured. The crash occurred on U.S. 82 seven miles east of Centerville.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
