Possible stolen items from the Pinson Valley High School field house may have been recovered thanks to a routine traffic stop in Blount County.
According to the Blount Countian, a Blount County deputy stopped a vehicle for a routine traffic violation on Tuesday, and during the course of the stop discovered electronics possibly stolen from Locust Fork and Cleveland high schools.
The suspect, 19-year-old Dustin Turner, has been charged with two counts each of third degree burglary and second degree theft of property after more items allegedly stolen from local high schools, including Pinson Valley, were found at his residence.
Currently, Turner is being held in the Blount County Jail with a $21,500 bond.
