JEFFERSON COUNTY – One man has been transported to the hospital after being shot in Center Point.
Authorities were called to the 1500 block of Charter East Circle in Center Point to investigate the situation Friday night around 9:15.

The initial investigation found that the unnamed victim was involved in an argument with another man in the parking lot of an apartment complex. The shooting is believed to be the result of that argument.
His injuries are considered life threatening, according to authorities. This investigation is ongoing and information will be presented as it becomes available.
