JEFFERSON COUNTY – The body of a 42-year-old white male was found this morning near Morris.
He was discovered shortly after 8 a.m. in the 7400 block of Coleman Road, suffering from a gunshot wound. A homicide investigation has since been launched.
The deceased was discovered lying on the passenger side of an abandoned Jeep in a field. A driver found the unnamed man after stopping to check on the vehicle.
