ST. CLAIR COUNTY –Special agents with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Danny Oliver Sr., 61, of Odenville on Friday on one count of dissemination of child pornography and four counts possession of child pornography.
A convicted sex offender, Oliver was arrested as part of a Cybertip Investigation, and a partnership with the SBI and the St. Clair County sheriff’s office.
Oliver had previously been convicted on two counts of sexual abuse in August of 2014, according to the ALEA criminal sex offender data base. That incident involved at 12-year-old girl.
Oliver is being held at the St. Clair County jail, as the investigation continues.
