TRUSSVILLE –An 11-year-old child was struck by a vehicle late this afternoon in the 6500 block of South Chalkville Rd. Trussville Fire & Rescue responded, Trussville police captain Jeff Bridges said.
The child was alert, with no visible injuries and was able to give rescue personnel all her information, according to Bridges.
According to Assistant Fire Chief Tim Shotts, she was transported to Children’s Hospital for evaluation purposes only.
