JEFFERSON COUNTY – The rosters for the annual Alabama High School Athletic Association North-South All-Star Football game have been announced, and three area players are listed.
Offensive lineman Tyon Hardy and defensive lineman Jordan Sharbutt will represent Clay-Chalkville in the 56th playing of the game. Pinson Valley linebacker Nathan Cunningham will join those two on the North team roster.
Both teamss are made entirely of recently graduated seniors that will do battle at the Crampton Bowl in Montgomery on July 17 at 7 p.m.
Hardy, Sharbutt and Cunningham will be coached by North team head man Lamar Harris of Class 1A Hubbertville. Carver-Montgomery’s Billy Gresham will serve as the head coach of the South team.
The South won by a count of 20-12 last season to take a 30-23-2 edge in the overall series.
