TRUSSVILLE – The Guthrie’s restaurant franchise has officially brought its business to the city of Trussville.
The new location, which serves to-go customers only, stands at 1104 N. Chalkville Road near I-59 in Trussville. Today marked the first day of operation for the chicken finger restaurant in Trussville.
“We’re very excited to add a Trussville location to the Guthrie’s family,” said Guthrie’s President Joe K. Guthrie. “We’re starting with Trussville and will continue to expand the Guthrie’s brand into the metro Birmingham area.”
Guthrie’s will celebrate 50 years of business this July. The chain opened its first restaurant in Haleyville and currently operates 25 locations in five different states.
After nearly 50 years of operation, the franchise has built a reputation for serving a limited menu that features hot, fast, golden fried chicken fingers, which are delivered with a signature dipping sauce.
Trussville customers will have the option to choose from The Box, The Snack, The Sandwich, The Bucket and the sweet tea in a drive-thru style format.
The restaurant will be open for business from 10:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
