JEFFERSON COUNTY — A death investigation is under way on McFrancis Road near Trussville and Clay.

One person in a home was found dead early Monday morning.
So far, authorities have not released specific information.
UPDATE at 7:45 a.m. Monday: The death investigation is not a homicide, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. No other information is available.
