CLAY — The helicopter Easter egg drop is scheduled for Saturday at the Clay Youth Sports Complex.
The event, put on by Clearview Baptist Church, is free to the public. The complex is located at 7257 Old Springville Road.
There will be an egg hunt for children with special needs at 11:30 a.m. The primary egg drop is at noon, which will be split by ages 0-5 and K5 through fifth grade. A helicopter will be onsite dropping eggs, and whoever finds the two golden eggs will win a free ride in the helicopter.
Last year, about 1,000 Easter eggs were tossed from the helicopter. Another few thousand eggs were hunted for by children on the ground.
