PINSON — The Pinson Education Foundation is accepting nominations for this year’s Teacher, Student and Support Personnel Recognition Banquet to be held May 4.
The banquet will be at 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall at Palmerdale United Methodist Church.

The foundation’s purpose is to acknowledge one teacher and one support personnel from the community of schools that serve the city of Pinson residents, along with a graduating student from Pinson Valley High School, who have demonstrated outstanding character.
The individuals chosen as the Pinson Teacher, Support Personnel and Student of the Year will receive a monetary award.
Tickets for the banquet are and may be purchased by April 30. Only 200 tickets are available.
