BIRMINGHAM — St. Vincent’s East has announced the addition of three new advisory board members — Joe Freeman, Bonnie Hicks and Foster Ware III.
There are now 11 members of the St. Vincent’s East Advisory Board. Together, they’re focused on working with the community and its leaders to identify and address the health care needs of the area.
“We’re excited to have the diverse expertise and knowledge Joe, Bonnie and Foster bring to our board from their respective fields,” said Michael Korpiel, president and COO of St. Vincent’s East. “As we look at ways to better connect with and serve our community in the future, all of our board members will play a key advisory role.”
Freeman, of Trussville, brings more than 10 years of financial experience and currently serves as the principal at his firm, E.F. Joseph, LLC. Freeman is involved with Camp Smile-A-Mile, Birmingham Ducks Unlimited and the Birmingham Irish Cultural Society. He was a candidate for the Alabama House of Representatives District 44 seat.
Hicks has more than 27 years of experience as a realtor, currently working at Re/Max MarketPlace. She is involved with the St. Vincent’s Foundation Board, Eastern Women’s Committee of Fifty and the Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce.
Ware III has a diverse range of experience, including health care consulting, government affairs, sales management and engineering. He is currently the area manager for the North Region of Alabama Power’s Birmingham Division.
